An energy and sustainability advisor who has worked with businesses, households and communities, he is focused on practical, on-the-ground actions that reduce emissions and improve people’s lives.
He studied environmental science at the University with a particular focus on the social dimensions of climate change and its impacts on people and communities. He tries keep up-to-date with the latest climate science and future projections and is particularly concerned about the future shocks to society from both local and global extremes.
He’s also involved with many community groups in Blairgowrie and Rattray including Blairgowrie Climate Café, Blairgowrie and Rattray Resilience group, and Blair Biodiversity group, and in his spare time outside of volunteering, likes to explore the highlands with hiking and multi-day camping trips.
