John Ferguson works as Head of Strategy at the Binn Eco Park and previously worked at SEPA, Scottish Government and PKC in various environmental capacities.
As an industrial ecologist his interests lie in using clean technology to support the transition to a low carbon regenerative local and regional economy.
He believes we need to change systems to rapidly reduce carbon emissions as well as to build in future resilience to address the changes already underway, with a strong focus on the societal essentials of food, water, shelter, resources, energy and mobility.
